what names are you coming up with? - Page 8

We're still decided on Owyn. Middle name is still up in the air. I have a feeling it'll end up being Caroline. This was originally my top choice and I couldn't get DH to agree to it. So now that he's said he'd be okay with it, of course I'm second guessing it... I keep sneaking Cecelia into the conversation (it's my confirmation name), I keep thinking I can convince DH he likes it but it's not working so far. I *really* like Owyn Amelia. But we kinda stole the first name from one of my husband's work buddies, and their daughter's full name is Owen Amelia, so we definitely won't use it. I've also mentioned Owyn Judith several times. I have an aunt named Judith that I have always admired, but I'm afraid I might offend my mom if we use my aunt's name and not hers...

If she surprises us with a penis, I'm leaning toward Liam Jack... although I really like Silas but DH does not.

AHH! Cecelia was my confirmation name too!

If Baby comes out a boy somehow, she will be Zane Archer.

Oh gosh, if Guinevere had been a boy, the name would've been Simon Charles <familyname>.

This time we were leaning towards Caspian, NN Ian.

I honestly don't know what we'd do if new baby came out a boy. Faint probably.

Our boy name has been picked for months. The girl name we just settled on a few days ago. But we haven't told anyone, cause we have this tendency to see the baby and question our name choice. We'll see. But right now it looks like we'll have one of these two:

Emmett Reed
Sadie Leaf

We're not 100% decided yet, but we're strongly leaning towards Philip Benjamin.

Okay, I seriously LOVE the names everyone is picking!

I still can not get a boys name in my head, so if this LO is a he, then we will have to pick after we meet. But for a girl we really like

Alena. (how would you all pronounce this- we like the spelling, but DH and I pronounce it differently).

The thing is, we don't have a middle yet. DH wants it to have to do with his favorite Aunt who went by Mag. He doesn't know her full name- we need to ask his parents.

I would say either "Aleena" or "Alayna". If your last name sounds Hispanic, I'd probably guess the "Alayna" pronunciation vs. "Aleena". Otherwise I'd be totally stumped and ask.

And I think Alena Margaret sounds very nice!

I don't know if I posted our "confirmed" name or not.
He's going to be Téo Alexander. I feel like I already know him.

Still nothin here! I am just so picky or dh and I can't agree!

LionTigerBear We've considered that, but it sounds strange rolling off the tongue to us. We're so funny about this stuff.

My name is Elena (shhh, don't tell) pronounced "alayna" and my mother's name (as well as my dd's middle name) is Margaret!

I love my name and my dd's name!!

There are so many great names on here!

My baby girl will be Aellyn Leigh Renee.

Aellyn is like Ellen with a long A like in day. Leigh is my mom's middle name, Renee is my sisters.

If we had a boy his name would be Boston Robert.

Are you a Survivor fan?

I pronounce it "Alayna", DH "Aleena"! I know several people named Lena (not related to us) so I was going for something a bit different than that. Thanks for the ideas all!

Now if we could just think of some boy names just in case....

We had Micah Robert picked out for a boy, but shortly after our ultrasound revealed we were in fact having a son, I had a dream that my son's name was Lucius Kincaid. And so it is.

Don't you love it when that happens? I tell people both my kids named themselves, it just came to me what their names were.

ETA: I suppose I should say this is true providing this one is indeed a boy... everyone keeps telling me not to say that it is for sure because I don't know that (because no ultrasound told me )

well I am leaning towards Juniper now and then it has lots of nick name possibilities that I like/

Juno
Junie
and June

I have been calling her Juno.

but still nothing for sure until baby is in arms.

Arg. This baby has been Silas since before he showed us his parts on the ultrasound (yes we were really counting on him being a boy). Now I'm seeing that name everywhere. I still love it, but my first son has a pretty unique name, and I don't want this one to have six others in his class with the same name.

I wish I could convince Paul to go with Milo. It sounds *kind of* the same and I almost like it more lately...
