Those who Chart - Does going to bed earlier (extra hours of sleep) affect temp?

Hi ladies,
Question says it all - everything I read stresses that taking temp at same time of the morning is improtant. So what if I take it at the same time ,but got 2 extra hours of sleep? Would that throw it off?
Thanks!

not in my experience. waking up at the same time effects it, but not getting more sleep, as long as you get at least 3 hrs.

Also, you might want to play around with taking your temp multiple times in one day. I did this just for fun, and I have discovered that with a few exceptions, I have a pretty consistent temp no matter what. I have several times gotten an almost identical temp in the morning and in the evening, which goes against all the books, so I guess everyone is different! I do have normal flucutations from day to day, so I know that my thermometer isn't the cause.
