Next Metrowest get-together

I'd love to go ahead and get this on everyone's calendar!
How about at Natick Organic Farm?
Would a Tuesday or a Thursday afternoon work for most people? VeganF, I think you said T/R would be ok if you DH could help out? Or, if Liz doesn't mind, we could try a M/W/F morning?
Actually, I have never been to NOF, so if anyone knows of a reason we can't go on any particular day of the week, please speak up!
How about in a few weeks, maybe the week of the 15th or the 22nd?

What am I...the Queen?

The only morning I could do is Sept 30.

Afternoons may work for me for me depending on the day.

I've been to the Natick Organic Farm many times. To be honest, there isn't a lot to do and kids can get bored quickly. The best thing to do would be to check their website to see if anything special is going on. Otherwise, kids tend to want to leave after about 20 minutes. It's a very small farm and the animals aren't always visible.

We could always do a nice playground...some good ones like: near rt. 27 in Sherborn, near rt. 9 in Southborough, on route 27 in Wayland, etc.

The trouble with going to a playground is that us moms don't get much of a chance to chat. We are usually chasing after or supervising our child(ren)...which somehow ends up at the opposite ends of the playground.

If you are interested in this get-together, please PM me (Paige is going out of town) with your choice of days/times.
I will keep everyone who pm's me informed until Paige gets back.

I've been away for the summer and am totally psyched to see that there are metrowest get togethers happening. : I'm up for wherever, but my time is limited. Tues afternoon (1:45 or later) works or sometimes friday morning. Evenings I'm free but probably are bad times to expect to be able to drag kids anywhere.

I would love to get together once we finally move at the end of the month. I have a nearly 2 yo and an 8 mo baby.
I'd be interested in meeting, I'm free pretty much anytime. I have an 8 1/2 month old son who loves other kids!

Paige- Were you still interested in getting people together?

Elm Bank in South Natick is really nice. I don't live in natick anymore...but my folks still do..I'm there often and I love brining my boys to Elm Bank.

OK, let's get this thing on everyone's calendar then! How about Tuesday the 23rd in the afternoon? Location seems hard; we've already done Weezie's Garden, playgrounds are hard bc kids are off in different directions, and sounds like Natick Organic Farm might not hold their interest long enough. Any suggestions? I think in the end we might just have to do a playground...maybe a small, fenced-in one? Or maybe back to Weezie's Garden at Elm Bank? It's fairly small.

I pick ds up from school at noon so any time after that is good for us.

I just remembered that Natick Organic Farm is right next to a school. Might be tricky getting in/out of.

I'd be up for Weezie's Garden again (best parking is near the Cottage which is after the horticulture bldg).

Or, if someone lives nearby and has a big back yard, that would be cool too.

We're going out of town so we won't be able to make it. But we hope y'all have fun and we'll join up when we return.

Have fun!

We won't be there yet. I look forwad to next month!

Ayla (almost 22 months) and I would be up for any location. What time were you thinking?
