Aurora, IL neighborhoods

My husband and I are currently searching for a home in Aurora, IL. We know the area well enough to know that there are a few neighborhoods we want to avoid, but not well enough to know which ones are best for raising a family.

Anyone know the area well enough to advise?

I live in Aurora, what exactly would you like to know? It is a very diverse town with neighborhoods in many different price points. Generally, from a crime and school perspective, you want either anything in DuPage county or something in the West Aurora school district. The near west side has older, more unique housing options and decent schools. DuPage county has newer homes, less unique, but with very good schools. If you would like, you could tell me more about what you are looking for specifically and I could give you the insight I have.
