bumping this old thread up--I've got a new hapa baby! So far she still has blue eyes (8 weeks old), it will be interesting to see what color her eyes end up. My son's eyes changed from gray at birth to brown within a week of being born. I have hazel-green eyes and most of my family has blue eyes, and my husband's eyes are brown as are all eyes in his family.

I wanted to bump this forum up cause I just found out I'm about to have a little Hapa on the way.....I'm so excited and so is my SO.....he is chinese and I am an American heinz 57 mutt, lol. We will be expecting our little one to be here late July / early August!!! I just found out via ultra sound that I'm exactly 5 weeks 4 days pregnant. I had originally thought I was farther along but I'm not so in a couple weeks I'll go back for a 7 weeks ultra sound so that I can actually see the baby up close and personal.

My 7 week US looked like a blob, not really up close and personal, but exciting none the less.

The 20 week is when it starts to actually look like a baby.

Yea, I've done tons of research and at 7 weeks he or she will still be pretty funny looking but a lot better than the 5 weeks ultra sound I had I'm sure. The 5 weeks ultra sound basically showed me a glowing orb.....hahaha. My baby is glowing, lol. Even though my little one may be a blob I'm told it will be a blob with a visible heart beat so if I get to at least see that I'll be in happy!!!
