I am so happy with how my son's orientation went today. We stayed for an hour and he was introduced to some materials and work while we watched. It was everything I hoped for! I love our teacher and the room is beautiful. A did a matching exercise and he watched a demonstration of the cylinders with two other boys, and he watched another boy do the pink tower and helped put it away. He also poured beans and got himself a snack.
The cutest thing is my son's "happy dance" which I hope isn't too much of a problem, but he cheers for himself when he does a work -- he even jumped up and down for himself, saying I did it! See! I did it!
When grandma asked how he liked school, he said - GREAT!
My only concern is that the room seems a little small if it's going to have a large class -- I don't think it's quite 30, but 24 or 28 looks like it will be a tight fit...... we will see.
