Activities/Groups for kindergateners in North Jersey

We just moved to NJ and I'm having a very hard time finding activities and groups for my DS to participate in. We're homeschooling, but he is becoming very social and I'd like to give him all the opportunities I can to interact with other kids. Please let me know of anything at all that you know of that would be suitable for a 4 year old. We're near Rockaway

Morris County Parks offers programs for homeschoolers.

You could call and ask for a copy of their newsletter, or check the calendar for events & registration info (but it can be a pain to navigate).

Another option is your local library and the Morris County Library.

Also...check out Merry Musicians if you'd like a music program. We love Miss Gen at the Randolph location (route 10). I'm pretty sure she has a relatively new class for older kids (4 and up, or so).

I pmed you while this board was down suggesting you google "homeschool support yahoo groups Rockaway NJ" and see if there are any yahoo groups near you. Maybe there is a group that meets at a park regularly or something.
