I think DS has the same views I do about the current war and organized religion.

for social studies they had to do a collage about culture, including religion or ritual and political institution

so.....for political institution, he has these thugs with guns

and for religion or ritual, he found a picture of a huge pinecone on a plate, surrounded by all this fruit, and around it are all these squatting chimpanzees, who I guess are worshipping the pinecone?

Oh yeah, I can't wait to meet that teacher.

I'm glad this school doesn't have the forced religion and patriotism like the other one did, so maybe I'll get lucky and we won't be the school weirdos. But if we are, he sure outed us in a big way.

I have no idea where he found those pictures, but dh and I died laughing.

I know. Makes me wonder what other viewpoints he has on the world.

He said the teacher's aide asked the teacher if he was around when Lucy was around.
