Not authorized to post in Tribes?

Thread Starter
I just tried to reply to two threads in FYT and there were no "quote" buttons for me to click on. There are, however, in this forum. Am I the only one seeing this?

Susannah,

We are making making some to the forum and have closed it for 3 days. It will be back open late night on Sunday, September 1, 2008.

Thank you.

Not authorized to post in Tribes?

In the Hawaii tribe (under locations I think?) I used to be able to reply or start threads, and now it says I'm not allowed. There is no "reply" or "new thread" button.

Help! Thanks!

Why...

am I being told that I cannot post replies or start new threads? Any ideas are appriciated.

Hello! I wanted to be sure you all knew your threads had been seen so I am merging these into one thread where our administrator shared that there is a moratorium in FYT at the moment.

Glad I'm not the only one! I was so confused what I did that I couldn't post in FYT

It seems to be Forum Moratorium - Take 3!

That would make a cool title for a tour or something.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I was actually going to post a reply about our female VP candidate and thought...wowza, that MUST be political?!?!?!? Came here to clarify why:

You may not post new threads
You may not post replies
You may not post attachments
You may edit your posts

Well, all I have to say is The Sisterhood thread is shut down...and I didn't have ANYTHING to do with it...this time.

Will be glad, though, when things are back to normal again.

Patience, patience...

Are the Tribal Threads closed?

Yup, that's it.

Are they closed? Tried to post in a couple and they aren't accepting any new posts.

Yes, I'm merging your post into the another discussion on the three day moratorium in FYT so we can keep everything in one place. I hope this thread will answer your questions.

Back after a "catnap": why can't I post?

Is there a moderator in the house?

I would like your help.

I just logged in after being away from Mothering.com for months (years?). I moved to Vermont last week. When I went to the Vermont tribe to introduce myself, I found out that I "may not" post a new thread and I "may not" reply to a post, etc. Why not?

I am ready to sing and dance here again!

Cheers,
Caitlin

Hi there,

I've added your post to the thread on this issue. There is currently a moratorium. More info can be found in the link above and in FYT.
