Yes, you do see my lice post, a few posts down. Now my son has waken up with pink eye in BOTH eyes! He has never had pink eye in his life! In 3 short weeks of starting school he has had a 2 week cold, lice yesterday and now pink eye. I am starting to think the schools hygiene is not very good. Is this normal? Should I put him in antoher school? Help!

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Does he still have a cold? Sometimes pink eye runs it's course with a cold. If not, we got some drops from the dr. All it took was one drop. She also suggested steep some white tea or green tea and then when the tea bags are cool, place them over the closed eye lids.

A lot of schools have a sort of "outbreak" of illnesses right when school starts. The school that DS goes to is VERY clean, but most kids come down with something in the first month or so. It stems from all of these kids being away from each other for such an extended period of time, then all of a sudden everyone thrust into a small room together. Everything that everyone had coming into school is going to get passed around until everyone builds up immunities to their friends' germs again. Unless you plan to homeschool your children, you will usually run into this in most schools.
Also, just because your child is getting sick does not mean the school isn't hygienic. They can try as well as they can, but teachers can't sit in the bathrooms all day long to be sure each child washes his/her hands properly each time. They can clean the school until it shines, but kids touch other kids, and they sit right next to each other in class, and walk next to each other in line, and touch each other's foods, etc, etc. Most young children don't understand to cover their mouths when they cough or sneeze, or if they sneeze in their hands they usually don't immediately go wash it properly. Plain and simple. They are kids and they WILL get sick.
