I have tried serching the forum but have failed. I know there have been threads that mention this. I know all the girls books to buy dd but have no idea what to get ds. We have It's so Amazing but I thought ds would enjoy something a little more in depth about boys. He has had some questions and not owning the equipment I don't really know what he is experiencing and I directed him to dad. The only problem is dh works alot of hours and is not always available.

Have you checked out an anatomy book? I am going to introduce the subject to my 10 yr. old as "health class" sort of stuff this year. He has had zero interest (really, we've tried lots of times in different ways to bring up this topic over the last several years) in anything at all related to puberty and the birds and the bees. I think he is at the age where he needs at least some general information on the topic. I am going to just use some anatomy books for reference.

What's Happening to my Body Book for Boys is a good one.
There is also one called something like What's going on down there? I can't remember the exact title. It's so Amazing is good and It's Perfectly Normal for 10 year olds and up are both really good.

This was my sons' favorite, hands down. It can be slightly crass in it's attempt to "speak their language" but it reads like a book they want to keep reading. It's not a textbook with scientific explainations.

I found it a good catalyst to conversations about questions they had.

How old was your son when you gave him this book; and did you give it to him once puberty started, or before? Just curious
