42 + 2. So finally, something's brewin. I've been having contrxs 4 min apart for the past 16 hours or so, I slept through 4 or 5 hours of it this morning, but everytime one of the kids woke me up i was having one. So they aren't very painful, but they are very uncomfortable, definatley not BH's. They have been sooo regular it's weird. Like, does my body have a watch? Also i lost some of my plug and that's a very good feeling. The babe's moving alot, so that's good.

I went for a walk while everyone was sleeping this morning to see how that would feel, and i got a couple of blocks down, had a big one, and decided that I would rather be close to home. This afternoon would be a good time to have a baby.

Anyway, hope everyone's having a great day!

40+1.
Felt very uncomfortable yesterday. Went for a walk and got a huge stitch in my side, then had BH's all night, like every 10-20m. Still having them this am, but not as frequent. However, this is the most BH's I've had, and they aren't uncomfortable, but they are stronger. I hope this means something.
I know I'm not as late as the rest of you (makes me feel badly to complain), but, I'm REALLY BIG (a lot of people ask me if I'm having twins), with a lot of pelvic pain. I'm having a hard time walking now. Don't think I can do this for 42 wks total!!
Hubby did accupressure this am. Hope that helps. Making more pies!! I shouldn't be eating all this sugar!! I'll have to bring in a pie to the birthing center if I go into labor for all the nurses!!

Congrats to those of you showing some signs! So exciting!! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!!!!

That's what we realized this morning . . . the funny thing was everyone kept on saying how my baby would be born early August, and I just kept saying "the more you say that the more likely I'll have the baby september first", which at this point looks very likely.

Anyway, if I do decide to take my doctor's advice, I will be induced wednesday. After much consideration I think that I will do it. I don't want to at all, but at the same time, I just really don't know how much longer I can be pregnant. I want to meet my baby

Anyone else out of clothing, too? Literally, nothing fits. I have one top left that covers my stomach entirely but it is tight, and I have a pair of shorts (that goodness it's been hot). My fingers look like stuffed sausages and my feet look like marshmellows. Even my eyelids are starting to swell now.

Anyway, good luck to those of you who seem to be starting some labor! Send some of that our way!!!

Announcing our brand new baby girl. Born at 4:11 this afternoon at home, in the water, caught by her mama. She was 9 and 1/2 pounds and hurt like a stinker to get out. I will post story later.

42 weeks and 1 day ( i wrote that wrong this morning) and she didn't look overbaked at all. just two pounds heavier than my biggest baby previously.

Congratulations, Redebeth!! :

I am also no longer a prepostpartum Mama. Wip made his way into the world Thursday evening - I was 40 w 5d. But, despite being a tiny little thing (6 lb 12 oz 18 1/2 in) he definitely showed signs of being a little well done. Super wrinkly bottoms of feet and dry cracking skin.
