Ideas for bead craft projects?

This weekend DD picked out some colorful beads in the shape of animals - they are very cute, the biggest one is maybe an inch in length.

I've thought we could just string them into a bracelet, but I'm wondering if there is anything else creative we could do with them. DD is only three so I worry if we made a bracelet it would get worn a couple times but then end up forgotten about.

Does anyone have ideas for other things we could make (or decorate) using the beads. I'd love projects DD could help me do, but also am interested in something that might be too tricky for her that I could do for her. Maybe something for her room?

Any ideas?

DD is just 4 and loves the couple of bracelets she has made. They live in the dressing up box and while they do get forgotten for a while they always pop back up again.

Also week keep a pot of beads just for the fun of threading them, when she is finished they go back in the pot. She enjoys making different patterns or me giving her patterns to follow (eg red, blue red, green etc). We found threading onto pipecleaners was easier for little fingers than thread.

As to ideas which you could make, maybe some hair elastics or maybe hang them from a lampshade
