big freakin surprise

It looks like I might be joining your ddc....a big surprise positive test for me today. I'm kinda in shock.
I'm really not sure of my exact due date because I had period-like bleeding over a month ago, so I didn't even know I was pregnant. And me n DH didn't do anything this past month to get me pregnant, so it must've happened before that. Ugghh, I wish I had kept better track of my period days.
My baby is almost 11 months old now, so the two babes might be around 18 months apart.

Welcome! Babes close together are kinda nice.

It's so weird to be pregnant without trying for so long, and we weren't even trying this time around...just not trying to prevent.

Wow, twins...now that crosses my mind as a possibility too. There are about 8 sets of twins on my dad's side of the family.

BIG suprise hear too! i've only had two periods since I've weaned my 15 month old and 2 of them were while I was on BC! This totally came out of left field for us!

Welcome! My son is also 11 months old, making him and the new baby 18 months apart.

Welcome and congrats!
I've got a 10.5 month old, and this one was also a surprise. There's quite a few of us, it looks like.

Welcome welcome!

Congrats and welcome!

Although we were trying, this baby was a bit of a surprise too because I also had a weird, very long, bleeding episode that I just thought was my period. Then I started feeling pregnant although I knew I hadn't ovulated since my "period." I tested, and instant BFP!

Surprised here, too! My ds is nearly 9 months old and they will be 15 months apart since I'm due in early April. Had a c-section 9 months ago and trying for a VBAC!

Wow, sounds a lot like my situation. Although we weren't really trying, just not trying to prevent, lol.

I'm sending best wishes for you to have your VBAC. I've been there and it can be frustrating to get everyone on board with your plan.

Well non-identical twins only come from the mother's side of the family (since its two eggs releasing) so rather amazingly all those twins on your father's side wouldn't "up your odds"

I must've read wrong somewhere here on MDC at one point. Interesting stuff that I would like to know more about though.

Congratulations!!
I was going to school through my first pregnancy. I still think of the student who sat in front of me wearing STRONG perfume to our 8AM class, lol. I was afraid my preggo-brain would sabotage my grades, but somehow studying and textbook info retention wasn't affected.
