I think that is what's throwing it off, it kind of disguises the temp shift. Maybe you better keep dtd just in case .

I was magically feeling that this month is it. I could actually observe a pretty good cm pattern, so I was so excited and hopeful. But today I have no clue anymore and feel quite down. I was sure I was gonna see a temp rise today, but nope. moreover, I took the temp after an hour of sleep and it was not higher, which as far as I understand means that "the real" temp would have been even lower then that. wth is going on?

I made an appointment for acupuncture yesterday. then, dh started saying that if things are looking so good, we should just wait it out this cycle and see, so I called back and canceled. But now that I see no temp rise I am just confused and frustrated.

Thoughts: I am very hopeful for this cycle. Had a nice easy AF, and now I am just gearing up to ovulate. I hope I ovulate a little earlier this cycle (it was CD20 last time) and that it's a nice healthy egg!

Valeria, I don't think your temp today counts since it was after only an hour of sleep and you had gotten up. I hope your temp tomorrow is more informative.

thanks, ladies. it wasn't easy to decide this, as i'm aching terribly for another, but really, it's what is best for right now. i just feel like it wouldn't be responsible of use to ttc when we are in a state of flux and are unsure of what our next move will be on a financial (not to mention insurance) level.

on the bright side, dd will have some extra time to have our attention, and end up being more able to help (if she wants) when the new baby does arrive. dh and i will get a little alone time as well in between the two kids, as dd is more amenable to having a family member watch her while we go and have date night. and, date night usually includes a drink or two- not something we could do while i was pg.

i hope to come back to this thread soon, and i hope to not see any of you!! (you'll all be in ddc's by then, you know)

yea - I know. but I think that it would have probably been even lower otherwise (if I didn't get up). hopefully it will be up tomorrow. who knows? I'm kinda down today about this stuff.

Thoughts: we BD'd on my most fertile CF day, but I haven't got any temps yet.

I work overnights, so I sleep during the day, strange hours and sometimes not enough - OR I stay up for 24-26 hours at a time sometimes. Yeah it's crazy. For all "dates" it is not the next day until after I sleep, so it might be 8am on Tuesday but to me it's still Monday night, kwim? I'm 23 (birthday 04/14/86) and married, we've been casually TTC since spring 2007. We would be happy to get preggo (me especially) but we aren't seeing doctors or anything just yet.

I just got new batteries in my thermometer, expecting AF anyday (unless pg) so I figured I'd start my chart out fresh. Except I just took my temp and I have a fever? 99.2* it said. I didn't even know I was sick, although I am kinda warm. I usually get kindof low oral temps, so when I charted before I used vaginal temps which are usually close to 99* normally, so I tried that too and also got 99.2*. SO I made DH try his and he got like 97something (mouth breather) so at least I know my thermometer isn't stuck on 99.2* Wonder what's up with that?

So I totally have my hopes up that this is our cycle. I have convinced myself (with a little help from those who shall not be named) that the bleeding a couple days ago was implantation. I know I am setting myself up for a major fall if AF shows, but it would suck even if I wasn't feeling this way right? I'm kind of scared either way to tell the truth. After a year of trying, the goal seems so far away now, when all our energy has been on the process.

I was so down yesterday. terrible. today as I saw the temp rise I have a new hope. my cm dried up today, though. so most likely if it did happen, it was yesterday. nothing left to do but : and wait

a year is a long time. I'm so sorry. But there is always hope, right? how many days till you test?

I just started doing temps. before I was just paying attention to cm. not like I wasn't crazy enough to begin with, but yes - now I have two things to go nuts over.

Ohhh, I see. Well, that makes it a bit boring for those who are waiting to O! Like me. I am on CD8 today and so excited! I'm a student midwife and I just started a new placement yesterday. All the women and babies and uteri are making my ovaries ache like crazy! It's insane how much the urge to reproduce can be felt physically when around women who are exuding hormones! Just wait till I get paged to a birth next, I'll cry like a baby!

So you had spotting at 6dpo and nothing since?! Of course that was implantation spotting then! Ah, I am so excited for your BFP! Are you testing, like, tomorrow? Cause if you implanted a couple days ago you might get a by then.
