Ha so I have a funny to tell. I was driving by our local catholic church yesterday and they have one of those scrolling signs and it says in huge letters, "LABOR NOT"! I was like wow even they are against me : haha j/k

Anyway I'm now 40w+4 days and last baby came at 40w+4 days so let's hope! Plus it's Labor (hardy har har) day! :

Still pregnant. It's not too late for a labor day baby.

I have a friend that had her girls 6 or maybe 7 years apart, both on labor day!

I was hoping for a labor day baby, but I'm guessing it's too late now.

I had an appointment with the mw this morning and I asked her to sweep my membranes if she could. Ouch!! I am only 2-3 cm and 50% effaced. After the exam, I've had bleeding all day.

She's checking me again on Thursday. I'm 40w6d today!

My husband's grandma passed away on Sunday. My husband just talked to her on Friday - she was asking where the baby was, and telling her to hurry up. I'm sad she didn't get to meet our little one. The viewing is Wed. and the funeral Thurs, and it's 3.5 hours away. I'm probably not going, and my husband is going but if I call him in labor, he's going to turn around and come right back.

I am sorry about your husband's gramma. It's so hard to mix joy with sadness.

I also wanted to say I was barely a 2 and only 30% effaced on friday afternoon, started losing my plug sat., and had my baby on sunday, so it sure sounds to me like you are close! Good luck mama.
