i don't know if he and Michael Moore know of each other, but I think they'd agree on a lot of points.
i originally read Thom's book the greatest spiritual secret of the century, interesting information on the jerusalem church and the orignal words of jesus and the gospel of thomas. i'd cross post to spirituality, but i'm not smart enough.
Quote:
| Thom's most recent book is Unequal Protection: The Rise of Corporate Dominance and the Theft of Human Rights. In this book, he tells the dramatic story of the first uprising against multinational corporate power - The Boston Tea Party - and then documents how, in 1886, a group of America's largest corporations fooled future Supreme Courts into thinking that the court of 1886 had given human rights protections under the Bill of Rights to corporations (corporate personhood). The result has been a massive destruction of culture and the environment worldwide: changing this story may be the single most powerful key to wresting our governments from corporate control and returning democracy to the people. |
