If you just send a few links?

I know a few old friends that are expecting boys, and want to just send them a few links in a short email. I don't see or talk to these girls in person, I just keep track through facebook. What should I send?

I think it is best to tailor what you send to the specific persons personality and the reasoning behind why they are doing it. For some the Penn & Teller video works really well, but others are turned off by it's R rated material. If the mom is just letting the dad decide "b/c he's the one with the penis" then the vulnerability of mem article helps them see how there DHs are not being rational. I personally think that the safest link, if you don't know the person well enough to tailor the info specifically to them, is the one to nocirc (link in my sig.)

My favorite is www.oknocirc.blogspot.com - it covers all the bases in a chatty, friendly way.

I would not say the vulnerability of men is the safest article. Even if I did agree with it (which I don't because it generalizes, and simplifies the perspective of circumcised men, from a perspective of a man who is not even circumcised himself. Not to mention can turn a discussion into a banging heads battle) this article is directed to women who are having problems talking to their husbands about this subject. While the OP is not even to that step, she is still trying to make these women understand.

I would suggest with an article that just goes straight to the facts. You can set the discussion, make it what is taken away, that way if the husband says "well, look at me, I am fine." The wife can respond "yes, but this baby is not you, and this surgery is altering HIS body."

The Q/A format on oknocirc is one of the best I have ever seen! Excellent work on that organization's part.
