Alexia Dawn Lewis was born at 4:59 pm on August 25th, 2008, weighing 9lb 3.5oz & 22 inches long.
Labor was 1hr 40min. However, I was having "light" contractions all week that would come and go. Baby Alex was so eager to be here that she was almost born in the car. The midwife really helped me to breath and keep her inside (That was harder than any labor pains) All I wanted to do was PUSH, but I knew that I would much rather her be born at the birth center so I fought against that urge. When we got to the birth center, the water tub was warm and ready. Alex was born into the water less than 10 min later. Dad caught her and sister Raven cut the cord. We are healthy and happy.
