I get 2 oz from each. Is there something you can eat or do to help increase milk supply especially if the babe is reluctant to get on the breast?

look at your baby while pumping.
think of your baby while pumping.
imagine baby crying while pumping..

I also find pumping one breast at a time is better...
or pump one breast put baby on the other.

3-4 ounces. I try to pump 1-2 times a day, but most days I just pump in the morning.

That is how much I used to get from pumping when I was working. 2-3 ounces from one side and only an ounce from the other side.

Just started pumping yesterday. They were out of pumps at the hospital when Evangeline was born. I finally got a rental. I got 2 oz on one side and 4.5oz on the other. Wish I could make them even so I don't look so lopsided. I just pumped now and got a total of 5.5oz. It has been about 2 hours since I fed the babe.

In the morning I pump off one breast and I don't think it's completely empty (I'm just too lazy to change bottles); I get 5 oz using a manual pump.

Wow, I'm so impressed with you all!

I've been only pumping the left, nursing on the right. I'm lucky if I get a full ounce from the left, pumping it for 20 minutes, about 5 times in 24 hours. Occasionally I get a whole once and a half, and then I'm ecstatic. I've never gotten 2.

I'm reintroducing her to the left breast now that it's healed. It's still really painful and much more difficult than the right. I'm completely lopsided. Making a ton of milk on the right and huge, and looking like a non-nursing, non-preggie woman on the left. I'm hoping to rebuild supply on that side. I've taken a bit of Goat's Rue from motherlove, but I'm afraid of overdoing the right which has serious letdown and tends to gag/choke her a lot. I swear over here its feast or famine!!

I have some serious oversupply issues at the moment. I know I shouldn't be pumping because that is only going to prolong the problem, but I figure I'll freeze and donate it until my milk regulates itself better. I am on average pumping 24 ounces a day. When I'm seriously engorged I can usually get about 8 oz from one breast and then I pump off about 4 oz from the other one the baby is going to nurse from. I worry about her only getting foremilk because of my engorment. She still gets a full feeding from the one breast I pump 4oz from. I feel like a Jersey Cow.
