Acne and Breastmilk- ROFL

So, DP, DS and I are at my dad's house for dinner and I'm sitting across from my 13yo sister.

She knows that I used BM in DS's eye and it fixed his clogged tear duct and that I use it on his face and it's really clearing his baby acne and eczema.

She looks at me and says. "So... does it *eyes nursing baby* work on other people's acne?" *wiggles eyebrows at me*

LMAO!! She was basically asking me to squirt her in the face! We were all silent for a split second and then everyone started cracking up.

That's awesome! I had a friend who's friend wasn't lactating anymore and her dh had a bad eye infection and asked if she'd be willing to pump for him

Don't know about acne, but when my almost 8yr.old had chicken pox in January, I had my lactating friend give me some of her EBM, then used it on her pox after bath, and put it in her chamomile tea twice that night. AMAZING results. From 11pm Sunday night (she had 300+pox) til 7pm Mon. she SCREAMED and CRIED, put the breast milk on at 7pm, gave her the tea, she settled down some, gave her another dose in tea around 10pm-she went to sleep and didn't wake up for 14 hrs! And no problem or complaining after that. Mind you, she had pox til the following week, so this wasn't at the "end" of it either! I'd say BM is magic myself. Used to put it on my little ones when I was still lactating, husband used to use it as well on himself, as well as eat it on his cereal! Glorious breast milk!

We both have been using it and it's working very well as long as we remember to do it!

The first night she tried it, she brought me a cotton ball to express onto and when it sprayed off to the side as I was expressing her eyes got huge and she says "WOAH! I wish I could do that!" I said "well someday I'm sure you'll be able to."

I really like my little sister

He turned purple and wouldn't even try it.

Oh well; ds1 has not had an easy time of it lately.
