Sprout Burlington CLOSED

FYI
Sprout Natural Parenting on Church street in Burlington has closed. They are still open in Brattleboro.

I used to work there & was going to do a baby wearing workshop this month . They had the cleanest bathroom on Church St (If anyone knows of another clean bathroom on Church let me know).

If you are in need of cloth diapers I believe that Kidstown in South Burlington has some (not sure what). And I know Bebop in Essex Junction has a GREAT selection of cloth.

I heard about this. It was so sudden, anyone know what happened?

Yes, they had THE best bathrooms on Church St.

Oh no! That's terrible news.

Any idea what happened??

I was also wondering what happened. So strange to close up shop with no warning. Makes me definitely wonder what happened. I am so bummed to not be able to use their bathrooms too!

Wow, that is weird. We were just in there last week and the clerk who waited on us mentioned just starting to work there. Doubt they would take on a new hire only to close a few days later.

They did. The sudden closure was a shock to everyone. I don't think anyone but the owner & business manager knew the store was going to close. :

So Sad!!!

Sprout and their staff will be sadly missed. They helped me prepare for my first child this past January. I wish them continued success with the Brattleboro store and luck with their online store. If you were a fan of
Sprout help them out by shopping online with them and spreading the word of their online store.

Hey I work at Sprout and you've got to understand it was sudden (she decided two days before) the rent on Church street was almost 10,000, especially in this economy and she found it hard to find staff who would stay and it was killing her family to be constantly driving to Burlington, she's got young kids. She isn't uncaring but as a business it was being wrung dry.

Please keep in mind that casting suspicion and potentially defamtory posting is against the UA. I have removed several posts from this thread.

I loved Sprout and I'm really sad they aren't around now that I am actually pregnant. I will probably shop online, but it's just not the same. And they did have the best bathrooms ever. :-(
