SunCB, I am so sorry you're sick

So, like clockwork, at the end of the day yesterday (8DPO) I got a teeny tiny bit of brown/tan spotting. Nothing this morning. This is the exact same thing that happened last month. It then went to a tiny bit more spotting later in the day on 9DPO and then light flow started at 10DPO (then turning into the heaviest flow ever, I'm still not convinced it wasn't a chemical) I had really been hoping to get my LP lengthened but it looks like not yet. I know since this is only my second cycle after PPAF I am probably asking for too much.
And just to taunt me my temp is staying high. chart It didn't dump last month either but it was lower starting on cd8.

LilStar, glad your pregnancy test wasn't a "waste"! ::: Happy and healthy 9 months!

bensgirl1222, the 10th will be CD14 for me, but sometimes my O date gets pushed a bit by stress etc. Hopefully I can be all zen this cycle and pop and egg out on the 10th and we can be testing buddies!

Could your spotting this month be implantation spotting?

I've had two PPAF and my LPs were 5 and 7 days, respectively. I know what you mean about being impatient for them to lengthen. I'm going to start B6 and Vitex this month to see if I can't edge it along.

When I was TTC DD I had a pretty short LP, anywhere from 8-10 days. I stared B6 and Vitex and conceived that same month. It's hard to say whether in lengthened my LP because I never got my period. I hope I have the same luck this time around.

I think that if the same thing hadn't happened last month I would definitley be thinking that implantation spotting was a possibilty (since it was such a tiny drop of it and it was brown and at 8DPO) but based on last month I am just assuming it will turn into more. So far today no more spotting though. I did take B6 this cycle, although it was only 50 mg (it is part of a B-50 complex).

not sure if it matters but it was a little while after having sex.

I THINK i've ovulated... cuz i got a positive opk yesterday.. and an ovulation dip.. BUT my temp didn't rise above coverline so not sure whats up here...

dustysweety-- I have read that it is totally normal to have a little bit of blood in your CM at O time. It could also have been because of your cervix getting ...um...bumped during sex.
Natalie- I bet your temp will keep going up over the next couple of days. It looks like you Od.

So after that tiny bit of brown CM the day before yesterday nothing more and temps are still up, so we shall see. Everytime I go to the bathroom I am expecting to see blood!

I hope the spotting stops-- FWIW, your temp is still sky high...A very good sign!!!

Thanks- nothing else since that 1 spot. The initial spot was almost inperceptible too- like an 1/8 of a teaspoon of tan CM. I am getting excited that hopeflly at least my LP is lengthening! As for my temp, if I were to record the temp I got on my BD thermometer it was even higher- 98.6! I stopped using it because it beeps a lot, but it is SO much faster than the store brand I got, so I want to switch back. But then when it gave me a high reading this morning I used the old one as well which gave me the lower temp which is what I entered.. I feel like the BD is probably more accurate though!

I don't know what posessed me but I just took a FRER that was in the cabinet- on DPO10 and with mid-afternoon pee, and I got a very clear BFP.
Holy crap. I am obviously really happy but I'm also freaking out. I really didn't think this would happen yet -- I thought I would feel "ready" sometime soon. I'm going to have to let it sink in.

There can be a little blood that finds its way out from the actual egg release, I've heard. And the PP was right, cervices can bleed, too, from DTD. I think it's actually a good sign!

I always get an +OPK, ovulate the following day, have temp rise the day AFTER that. I'll bet it goes up tomorrow.

Hi there nursing mamas TTC! I am also in this boat, although I am trying this time around to be very casual about it, as last time around we ended up needing IVF to get us our little girl. She's almost 11 months old and I'd be thrilled with an accidental pregnancy at this point!

I just wanted to ask a question to all of you -- for those of you trying to catch the first PP egg ... when do you test?! I have no PPAF yet, so I have no idea how to know when testing might be a good idea. I could temp, but I'm still up at night so I'm not sure it would even be accurate. Just curious how you ladies deal with that?!

abby congrats on your BFP!!

I think i O'd based on OPK.. but im really not sure.. cuz my temp did not rise as much as i thought it would..
also i have a few high temps a few days before and i discarded them because they seemed to be throwing things off.... they were unusually high but i think it was either my body gearing up to O or this cough syrup my mother gave me.. some home remedy of a dutch cough syrup with honey... it totally dried up my cm and i think it affected my temps... now that its discarded my chart looks a little better.. but i guess ill have to see with the next few days temps.
what do you guys think? FF hasn't given me an O date but my free trial of ovusoft has(which is ending in 4 days).. check out my ovusoft chart:
