Life has been crazy and meal planning has kind of gone down the toilet, but crazy times make meal planing even more important so I'm trying to get back to doing it. Brainstorming here and thinking of what we have on hand, and not including fruit and veg sides, my tentative plan for the next couple of weeks is:

Sept 10 ~ breakfast for dinner: country fried potatoes with bell peppers and onions, eggs, bacon, apples

Sept 11 ~ Boilermaker Chili

Sept 12 ~ cheese and bell pepper quesadillas, Refried Beans

Sept 13 ~ Potato Corn Chowder

Sept 14 ~ Chicken Enchiladas, Mexican Rice

Sept 15 ~ Paella

Sept 16 ~ Oregon Salmon Patties

Sept 17 ~ Creamy Tomato Basil Soup, paninis

Sept 18 ~ Crockpot Beef Stroganoff

Sept 19 ~ homemade garlic/tomato/basil and cheese pizzas

Sept 20 ~ Curried Shrimp, Chickpea, and Potato Ragout

Sept 21 ~ cottage pie

Sept 22 ~ spaghetti w/ vodka sauce

Sept 23 ~ Apple Butternut Squash Soup, grilled cheese sandwiches

i never post anymore but I should start again since it's monday! I am working on cleaning out the rest of my lamb and beef from last year so I can buy another, so I'm doing a TON of cooking lately and freezing meals too.

monday 15th: Some kind of sandwiches on the homemade sourdough hogies I made yesterday, and a quick tomato creamy soup.
tues 16th: West African Jollof rice which is like a hearty stew with lots of spices, veggies and rice (kind of the same idea as a spanish rice dish) and yams. And of course fried Plantains

wed-fri I have meals planned but not sure which days.

wed: probalby mini deep dish pizzas for all. DH likes "stinky pizza" with loads of garlic, fresh and sundried tomatoes, and onion...and cheese of course
For kids, pecorino and fresh mozza, and they love either pesto or red sauce, I let them pick. I'll make a salad and croutons with it

2 other meals are swedish meatballs in which I made a huge batch of monday since I had the meat thawed, and froze so we will have those with something on the side

and then some kidn of pasta. I haven't decided which but my kids will help me make the noodles for it. Probably gorgonzola cream sauce with lots of veggies in it. Seems when we make homemade noodles and cream sauce anyone will eat tons of veggies!!

For desserts I have ice cream homemade in the freezer, and blackberry sauce, and a chocolate cake sometime mid week.
