It's a boy

Friend's baby was born yesterday - boy. I have a feeling that he will be cut. I gave her info, showed her my intact baby (during a diaper change) and commented on how easy it was to care for, pretty much did everything I could. I hope at least my comments about making sure the OB used anesthesia got through. Never heard back one way or another.

I almost don't want to know for fear that they did it. I've been praying for a girl.

My friend (who I think circ'd even after all the info..I showed her my DS's intact status during a diaper change too!), emailed me to say that a former friend of mine (who they still are friends with, long story) had a boy. I emailed her saying that I hope they didn't circ him, as it's a torture inflicted on children because in the Victorian times they thought it cured masturbation and cured insanity.

I know..they never tell you if they did it or not..I take that as a sign that they DID it...

Thanks (to all of you). I don't have anyone IRL who understands.

I haven't been over to see them yet, but I have a feeling this will be the end of the friendship. It wasn't a super close one to begin with, more from living nearby and having a couple mutual friends. We don't live very close any more, so I could easily just let things die out.
