Problem with Dr. Bronner's in a foaming dispenser

I tried putting Dr. B's in my now empty foaming dispenser. I first tried one ounce of soap and eight ounces of water, but it was way too much liquid and didn't foam very well. So I tried one ounce of soap and seven ounces of water. The foam is better but when I press the dispenser down to get foam out, it stays down instead of coming back up. That wouldn't be a big deal for me or dh, but the boys are having a hard time with it.

Does anyone have suggestions or should I just keep buying soap? I really want the foaming stuff or the boys use way too much.

I mix about one part Dr. B's with four to five parts water and a few drops of EO. Works great in my foaming dispenser.

Oh I'm so glad to find this thread-- I was having the same problem with the pump getting stuck! (and it's good to see the reminder to go dig out my pump from wherever it was packed when we moved!

I had the same problem with castile soap in a foaming dispenser. I switched to using "all natural dish liquid" in the foaming dispenser instead. Actually, I've since given up even on that (as the foaming dispenser never lasted longer than one bottle of dish detergent) and now I use a pump bottle without the foam and replace the bottles when they're empty (recycling the empties of course.)

I use dr B's in a foaming dispenser and have the same thing, the pump won't come back up. But that happened to me when I used mainstream liquid soaps, too.

I also have this problem. I really want to continue using diluted Bronner's for hand soap, it is so economical from Frontier! Does it work diluted in a regular pump?
