I just posted an entry on my blog about circumcision. It was prompted by some really upsetting comments I read on someone else's blog.
I would really appreciate it if anyone who has a minute could check it out and either leave comments on my post (either to point out something I may have left out or just to give an "AMEN" so that other people reading the post see that there are plenty of other people out there who feel the same way) or leave a comment on the post that originally prompted me to write mine (there's a link within my post) to counter the bad comments others have left.
I usually try to keep mum about issues that interest me unless someone expresses an interest. But circ seemed like too important an issue to not do something a little more proactive.

ETA UPDATE:
My best friend saw the post and asked a few questions. She then proceeded to tell me she would be leaving her (future) children's bodies alone! Hooray!
Of course...I had no doubts that if she knew the truth about circumcision that she'd make that decision. She's a smart cookie and she really respects kids. But it's nice to know my intactivism had an effect! I wrote the post more for people I know that might not be as awesome as her.
