I had a scheduled c-section at 34 weeks 4 days r/t to issues with the babies (monoamniotic, cordentanglement) but never needed bed rest and felt I could have gine longer I'd never had a contrcation at that point.

Know of anyone put on bedrest for TTTS???? Yep, it happens here all. the. time.

ETA: It may or may not work depending on who you ask, BUT here with twins, it's automatic

I was told to take it easy and try modified bedrest at 24 weeks due to a lot of contractions.

Then, I was put on strict bedrest at 31 weeks due to high blood pressure.

No bedrest, worked until 2 days before birth at 39 weeks. Walked all through my second and third trimester, a couple miles a day.

Too sick for anything active the first trimester. "Morning" sickness? How about work, commuting, getting home, ingesting anything sickness?

No bed rest for me

I was induced at 37w6d, babies were born at 38w exactly. I actually worked the day I was induced. I hadn't dilated a bit, so probably could have gone a bit further.

Hi,

I was on modified bedrest from 18 weeks to 32 weeks because of frequent contractions, I was also on Procardia. Then from 32 weeks to 36 weeks I was on strict bedrest because of effacement and dilation. I delivered at 37w2d by c-section.

Good luck!

No bedrest for me. I did quit working around 26 weeks, I waitress so running and carrying heavy trays while preg with twins didn't mix well. So really all I did from then on was housework and I did try to take a walk every day until I got so huge my back just couldn't take it anymore. I remember, which is funny, by the time I got to about 34-35 weeks, I had to even was dishes in shifts, I could only stand for about 5 min at a time before my back would be killing me. I delivered at 38 weeks 1 day.
