I have finally madde up my mind

I have been so torn about what to do about VAX since I became preg w/ dd1. Now 4 years and another kid later, I feel confident in my decision. I did delayed and selective VAX w/ dd1 and dd2, but never felt I was doing 100% the right thing. I had an appt w/ a well known NP and got her opinion on it all. We are lucky that the girls did not have any reaction to the VAX we did give them. We want to travel often (we HS) so I feel VAX for us is a smart choice. I still don't 100 % trust them to be 100% safe, or 100% effective, but its WORTH THE RISK. And it has taken me alot of research, time and thought to come to that conclusion. I just wanted to share this because it has been a major "sigh of relief" to not feel to torn any longer.

I'm happy that you educated yourself and looked at both sides before making a decision. It's obvious you really care about what goes into their bodies and it's great you feel you made the right choice for your family.

I feel that the most important thing is that parents educate themselves and not follow their ped or dr blindly. I know some people who have no idea what vaccinations their children get at each appointment...
Once you have all the facts and both sides of the story, you make a decision you're comfortable with...so CONGRATULATIONS!
We delay/selectively vax and I've just recently come to the same place that you are, comfortable with our choices. It is a nice place to be!
