Need help re:USA circ rates

Thread Starter
I am writing a research paper for school about (against) circumcision and was trying to get the most recent data concerning circumcision rates in the USA- and other countries, if possible. I googled and found on WikiAnswers that, according to the AAP, as of 2006 infant circ rates were down to 47% in the USA. I checked the AAP website but I have trouble navigating it for some reason.

Does anyone have the AAP link or any other credible sources that cite the 47% - or any recent percentages? I can't seem to find much else, but then, I've been at the computer searching circ info alllll day (my rough draft is due tomorrow ) and I'm a bit burnt out.

Thanks for any help!

Check Circumcision Statistics

According to data from the National Hospital Discharge Survey the newborn circumcision rate in 2006 was 56%.
