did a cervix check and I am dilated 3 cm, and she is engaged to a -2 station ... butt first
I wanted to try a version, so we went to the ultrasound room, and my amniotic fluid is very low, and they said the cord was on or around her neck, and they are not willing to try a version.
He actually said it was dangerous to go into labor with the cord the way it is, and since I am already 3cm, he wants to do a section on Monday (37w+2d)
I want what is best for my baby girl, although I am wreck right now mourning my beautiful med-free quiet natural birth I was dreaming of.

I'm in a very similar position right now so I know how you feel. I hope we both are able to get through the unpleasant parts of this experience and celebrate with our new babies soon!
