Ped/GP on South Shore who's vax friendly

Hey mamas,

Just curious who you are using for your DC. We currently have a GP who I'm not very comfy with. We don't vax, so this is a big one for me. My son has asthma so I need someone who is up to date on current treatments, along with the alternative methids we're using. Anyone like their ped/GP & can give me a recommendation? Thanks

I use Dr Nicole Wood with Harbor Medical in Pembroke. She is youngish, early 30s maybe, so she's probably more up on current treatments than some of the older drs. We do not vax either, and she is fine with it.

Thanks Mama. How are the other docs in the practice or do you just see her?

Oh, good we are moving to Pembroke and I was coming to the forum to ask the same question. I will contact Dr. Wood - it will be good to have the same doctor for all the family members again!

We see Dr. Smith there and she is also cool about it (also a young doc). We saw Dr DiMaria when DD was 2 wks and she tried to talk us into "at least" 2 particular vaxes. She was not a jerk about it and was respectful but clearly thought they were very impt.
