Question for others taking EPO and RRL

I am currently taking 1000 mg of EPO orally each day and drinking 2 mugs of RRL tea a day (brewed at normal tea strength). I am thinking of increasing each next Monday when I am 37 weeks, but am not sure how much to increase. I was thinking 2000 mg of EPO and then just stronger brews of RRL or maybe more mugs of RRL is better? I would love to hear what others are doing or have done.

The only EPO I had was a super strength - so I started last week at one 1300mg pill (orally a day) and two cups of RRL at normal strength. That was 36 weeks.

37 weeks, I've doubled my dosage of EPO (so 2600 orally) and added in a third RRL cup. I have a bottle that I make my tea in, so as I increase tea bags, it will just be stronger, not necessarily more (if that makes sense.)

I just plan on adding in an additional EPO capsule every week and adding a tea bag every week from here on out.

At 37 weeks, my midwife had me at 3000 mg EPO orally, plus 1000 vaginally. I've never actually taken that much in a day, but I was at least given the go ahead for that much. I think more cups a day of RRL would be more effective than one stronger cup. There is only so much RRL that can get into one cup of water.

I am 37 weeks, and currently take 1000mg EPO orally and 1000mg vaginally. I think I will increase the oral dosage to 2000mg. The RRL tea I drink when I remember to, but I've been making it double strength to make up for when I don't take it. It would be better to drink it every day, I know, but I always forget.

Glad to hear that I am somewhat on track with others. Sounds like I could even increase the EPO beyond 2000 mg at or after 37 weeks. Thanks everyone!

When I was pg with DD2, halfway through my third tri RRL tea started making me vomit. I tried a couple times to go back to it, but each time it made me very sick. Take heart in knowing that all the tea you drank over the last 9 months has made a difference (my labor with DD2 was 2 hours long!).

I gave up on the RRL tea. I just can't remember to drink it on a consistent enough basis and don't really like it anyway.

I started EPO two days ago and am taking two 500mg capsules a day. As soon as this thrush clears up I will start taking another capsule vaginally and add another orally so that I'm up to 2000mg per day.

I've pretty much stopped drinking the RRL too, it gives me terrible heartburn. I'm thinking about starting the EPO, but I'm not sure.

I took 6 EPO capsules orally and 2 vaginally per day for the last 4 or five weeks. They were 1000mgs each. this was at the advice of my Midwife and I am convinced that it helped tremendously. I also made a huge strong batch of RRL tea and kept it in the fridge and drank it whenever I was thirsty pretty much. the last few days before labor I was up to about 6+ cups/day. It was pretty much all I drank lol Oh it had some nettles and alfalfa in it too.
