How many of you have had your babies drop yet? I feel like mine is going to wait till the last second to do so. I want her to drop now!

Are you sure about that? Heh. The pain of trying to roll over in bed, get up and down, even walk, has tripled since she descended.

My first two did not drop until labor. This one dropped about 1.5 weeks ago. Because she is so long, I've not only got lots of discomfort in my pelvic area and the constant feeling of having to pee, I've also got kicks in the ribs. Best of both worlds!

Hey, at least it'll encourage my cervix to DO SOMETHING. lol. So far my cervix is just... a cervix. It's being nice and hard and uncooperative. I just feel like if my baby drops my body will have more interest in labor.

Yes, I am pretty sure because I can't bend over as easy and (thanks charlotte) I can place my hands flat under my breasts...

If she goes any lower, I'll be giving birth… which will hopefully be soon.

I'm at 40 weeks tomorrow and Indigo has finally dropped into my pelvis. I've got a very long torso, so the midwife was telling me that it may be that the baby just likes to float around since there's so much extra room...I noticed that Indigo dropped because my pelvic pain (SPD) has come back with a vengence, to the point where DH has to lift and swing both my legs at once to help me get into bed. Getting into the car has also become something I dread. But at least I'm going to have this baby soon...:

I voted yes - I ~think~ he's dropped. I can't tell so much by looking - although others tell me I've dropped. But I can breathe SO much better.

I think she's dropped. My big bump looks considerably lower than it was. This happened last Saturday. Changing positions in bed is such a major drag as well as getting in and out of our car! It doesn't help that it's a two door sporty car either (it's going to be such a pain to get our baby in and out of it - we are getting a more family friendly car in a few months)! I can't drive anymore - shifting gears is so difficult - moving my leg to get my foot on and off the clutch is real pain. My belly touches the steering wheel too. So, I don't drive anymore. Another possible indication she's dropped - recent limited mobility other than walking around the house.
I didn't vote because I'm not entirely sure but I'm guessing she has.

Wow, this is kinda interesting to see... the results are so spread out. I guess what they say is true... every pregnancy IS different. hehehe.

I think she's in the process...everyone in the past five days has *told* (not even guessed ) me that I'm having a boy - and I had been obviously doing that 'girl carry' thing.

This baby clearly dropped just before 37 weeks, earlier than my first. It wasn't as obvious with my first, either.

Yep, with both of mine the midwife had to shove their heads out of the way to check my cervix. Both before 36 weeks too.
