EDIT:
Thanks so much for the generous offers of your milk! Also thanks to the Mamas who send well wishes! Right now, she doesn't need any supplements! WOOHOO! The baby has gained 3 ounces in 2 days and she's now able to pump some. I'm so happy for them!

Thank you! Thank you! And Thank you again!

A local friend of mine has her hands full, right now. She planned a homebirth, but eventually birthed in the hospital. They're having alot of problems now and she's supplementing at breast on the advice of her IBCLC. Her 2 week old wasn't even pooping for days before this Everyone's hopeful that this situation can be resolved and she can EBF, but right now, she needs a bit of help. PM me if you know of anything.

I haven't tried milkshare, mostly beacuse this if very time specific. Need will be gone in a couple of weeks, but any amount of milk instead of formula is fantastic!

Thank you!

Unfortunately I do not have any extra milk to donate. I really hope you find it. BUT, this situation sounds similar to mine a few months ago. My baby didn't have a BM for 3 weeks. Our LC Anne Grider found him to have posterior tongue tie. After getting that clipped, he started having BMs daily and my supply increased. Just in case this has not been looked at...

I believe they're dealing with something similar. The frenulum is tight, from what I'm told, but they believe it's not enough to warrant clipping, however they're working with the baby on sucking more effectively. Alot of seems to be that the poor babe is just too exhausted from a long, traumatic birth.
