Angi- So sorry about BFN:
Sunshine- Good luck on IUI #2
Jazcat- Hope you are feeling better

Went for follie study and there are 4, one is 12 mm, the other 3 are 10 mm, so we study again on Monday. Checking for surge daily. Hope it stays away. I prefer the trigger shot because I feel more in control (Ha! there is a big letting go of control in this game!)

I kept thinking O would happen this week because everyone says Clomid makes it happen early. My last couple cycles happened more at day 19 or so which would be Monday. I've chilled out a bit about the work thing at least. My work hasn't been as stressful as anticipated and I don't think DH will have trouble meeting me if needed. Tomorrow, Saturday I've made arrangments (Including a trip to the Grandparents for DD) to have some much needed physical activity on my own terms.

I've not had much in the way of bad symptoms from the Clomid. My CM seems better than ever, no drying. Maybe I've been a bit more emotional. No cramping. I've been wondering if it's working! We DTD last night and my cervix just felt odd. Not painful, I was much more aware of it than usual during. Is that a usual symptom?

Yes, much, thank you. That IUI just totally wiped me out this time! 3 DPO now....waiting waiting. Not too optimistic, with just 1 mil swimmers.

What CD are you? My surge almost escaped me this time - I got a negative in the morning, then positive in the afternoon. The monitor missed it completely.

Hey, Jazcat- I remember from previous post you have short LH surges. Do you get EWCM? Even tho your swimmer numbers are low, you have 2 advantages. 1) Your sample is fresh 2) You only need 1 swimmer. Hang in there
Masel- Maybe your cervix is more sensative because you have alot more bloodflow down there because of the Clomid. I have heard Clomid makes O later. Who knows?

Wow, stellar memory natrualmom! I can barely remember what day it is Yes, I usually do have 1 day EWCM....this time 2 days pre-O. Thanks for the encouragement. It's hard to believe that 1 million good swimmers is such a poor number, huh? I mean, 1 million is a lot.

Where are you in your cycle?

I am at cd14, follie scan tomorrow. I had 4 little ones on Thurs. Hoping they matured!! No surge either, which I prefer. My DH had good counts, like 26-55 mil post wash, but the motility is crappy, and the sample is frozen. So its like picking the better of the evils, less swimmers, better quality, or more swimmers, lesser quality.

Saturday morning I got indication of the LH surge with and OPK. It wasn't quite as dark as the registration line but it was close. I called the doctor's exchange and the nurse I talked to was really unhelpful. Despite what my doctor had said she didn't think anyone would do an IUI over the weekend. Huh? I have to call Monday morning after they open at 9 to get an appointment. I guess we are only going to get one chance this cycle if they can fit us in at all.

I had a great day Saturday. I was in a martial arts tournament of sorts and was feeling quite fierce but then I'd hear a baby cry and whirl around looking for my kid (who was at Grandma and Papa's house.) It was a very strange warring of hormones (that I took out later on my poor DH.)

Masel- I would be quite angry if I was blown off. Maybe they can scan you Mon morning to see if you have ovulated yet, because an IUI after ovulation is not great for chances of it working. Also, could you set a plan with the docs next cycle if things should happen over the weekend?

Masel, that sounds so frustrating :

Just checking in . . . 9dpo and am pretty sure it's gonna be a looong week . . .waiting sucks. Wish I could go to sleep and wake up on Friday

Just got the call. My appointment is at 11. Wheeeeeee.
Most of the people at that office are helpful and kind. My MiL is a nurse for another doctor at the practice and I took in their insurance coordinator's cats when she had to move. I'm suddenly very giggliy.

I am leaving my office very shorthanded today but suddenly I don't care.

ETA Forgot to say, my temperature shift was this morning so we're not too far off.

My follies stopped growing. Doc says to stop testing for LH surge and let this cycle go. She says I may not get a period, and to call after 4-6 weks if this happened. This is a bad day for me:

So you got a temp shift this morning, but your IUI is not till tomorrow AM? Do I understand that correctly? If that's the case, and the IUI is costing you, you may want to reconsider. I don't want to be a downer, but the chances of pregnancy after you ovulate are very slim.

Fingers crossed for Masel and off to start the October thread for IUIs. I'm on clomid for the first time this month. I have 3 follicles maturing. It seems to be making me O later, but I also dropped some supplements that seemed to make me O earlier, so maybe that's it.

Also, my docs office will absolutely do an IUI on the weekend. In fact, I need to line up childcare for Saturday because it looks like we will go Friday and Saturday.
