Anyone know?
I suspect not, but I'm trying to cover my bases for a paper I'm writing.

i think it was medela that recently acquired evenflow. since medela follows the code, evenflow now does as well (i.e. no advertising of bottles/nipples/etc).
|
At the moment, Medela is anything BUT Code compliant.

i use parents choice organic(for my foster baby) available at walmart. they dont advertise as far as i have found . i only knew about them because a friend with low supply used it.

Heh, I suspect not too! Although I suppose if they didn't advertise, very few people would know about them, so even if they exist you may not hear about them for your paper!

you do have a point there...|
hey - do you have a family doctor or your kids a pediatrician? you could always call them and ask if they know about formulas available only to physicians or something?

I've never seen an ad for Baby's Only organic formula. Maybe they do, not sure, but at least on the can they state that it is for toddlers only--according to the company this is not because it is any different nutritionally than infant formula, it is because they don't want anyone to be under the impression that anything but breastmilk is acceptable for an infant under the age of one year.

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing ads for it somewhere though...

Is Baby's Own from the Earth's Own brand? I remember going to my local health food store and seeing a HUGE over-the-aisle sign for it.
And really, it doesn't make a lick of sense to wean a toddler from breast to formula, so I have my doubts as to exactly where that stuff's marketed. |
