I'll miss you but I completely understand. I know I spend way too much time online too and it's hard to break that habit. Kudos to you for actually breaking free!

I thought we couldn't delete our accounts?

I have a love-hate relationship with message boards. I have actually made a few friends this way, and have found some good support and information, but on balance being here (and other places on the internet) has not been good for me. I rationalize that it's just a diversion, but the reality is that continually comparing myself with other mothers fuels a negative view of myself.

I think you've done a great service by telling us that you're leaving and why. I realize I need to leave "Dissident Daughter" behind and get on with my life.

I know you may never see this message, but I am wondering if it really is possible for a member to delete her account.
