That's fantastic!

Just out of curiosity, what fair was it? I know my home county's fair is always this time of year (and actually, it would kind of shock me to see something like that there!).

The Minnesota state fair also has a station: they call it the "Lactation Station."

Hmm, not my local fair, but that is my BIL's hometown. I'll have to tell my sister about that!

The Canfield Fair had something like this, but not nearly as nice: It was a trailer with space for baby changing on one side and a few chairs on the other with a curtain you could pull over for privacy-but there were no breastfeeding signs or anything like that. We've got a long way to go around here

I didn't get to nurse in it. We did run into it when it rained. One booth was having trouble with their electric and when playing with the wires turned on the tornado siren....have you ever been right next to one with two little kids...They FREAKED out! So we ran away LOL back to the car.

Maybe today....

I'm not a mama yet, and don't breastfeed. But I have noticed at our local art festival, which is at a county park, they always set up a breastfeeding and changing tent. But I can't imagine I'd ever use it. This fair is always during the hottest part of the summer, and their tent is really just a whole bunch of blue tarps wrassled together as a tent, with the sun beating down on it. I can't imagine it'd be a comfortable place to nurse. It would be much much cooler 20 steps away on a bench in the woods under the shade and with a breeze, ya know? Not in a plastic sticky tarp.

Very cool!
Wish there was one at the local football game we went to last night. It was rainy and DD wanted to nurse and there was nowhere to sit and stay dry!
