We might be moving there...what do you like? Your neighborhood? The library? Something that you go and do with the kids?

My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...

This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Honestly, I'm not having a good time in Mobile right now, but that's just because I'm longing to get back home to the west coast. So, maybe this is a good exercise in finding the positive, for me:
Things I like about Mobile:
The beaches here are excellent and beautiful! (But we have jellyfish in the summer, so we don't go much between June and September)
There are plenty of options for indoor things to do in the summer and winter. The explorium and the watermelon patch top my list, but my son also likes to go to Books a Million for the trains.
The outdoors is awesome! Botanical gardens, parks, wild areas, rivers/ creeks/ beaches/ zoos. Going outside (when it is nice enough aka: not sweltering or freezing) is pretty groovy!
Mamas here are generally very friendly.
Oh -- one thing I forgot to mention in your other post, we have a Birth Stories chapter starting this month, where mamas get together to talk about their birth experiences (and perhaps get tips for the next one).
