Labor has started!!

I'm so excited I could barely sleep last night. Contractions started around 10:30 last night, and have stayed steady and progressively stronger since then. They're spaced about 7-8 minutes apart, lasting for about 1 minute. My midwife told me to call out of work (my last day too!), and to get some sleep. I'll email again before I leave...

Thanks for all the ELVs! The contractions are getting stronger and more intense, and I'm almost getting impatient waiting for them to get stronger and more productive. I'll be heading to the birth center in an hour or two since it's an almost two hour drive to get there.

Best birthing ELVs to the other mamas I think are going into labor along with me today :

And we're off to the birthing center. Here's hoping for a happy, healthy baby and a wonderful birthing experience (hopefully a water birth!).

Enjoy your day, mamas!
