Do you associate people on this board with their beads?

I've noticed that ever since I made my birth necklace, I feel like I know those of you who are part of it a little better. I somehow associate you with your bead, and it helps in a similar way that putting a face to you would. Is this true for anyone else, or am I just weird?

I'm the same way! When I see a post by someone I will think of what their bead looks like or what message they wrote. Granted, I don't remember ALL of them, but quite a few. It's pretty cool!

Incidentally, I just tried to find the thread with the pictures of all of our necklaces, and couldn't. Alas. But I'm happy to report that I finally made mine last week -- and made a Web site for the necklace (nesting gone awry?):

That's beautiful! I wish I had access to the exchange page so I could see all of the other necklaces. I haven't made mine up....but I've been the queen of procrastination. BTW...the felted beads are made of wool...so they should be fine getting wet, for those of you who do have them in your necklace!

The title of this post literally made me LOL!!! Because that is exactly what I do! My list of who sent which bead and the quote w/ it - is sitting next to the computer. hehehe.

Erica -- thanks for the info on the wool. I plan on using mine more like a rosary (we'll of course see) but was wondering what I would do in the tub.

Mine is made... and I took a pic of it... and then lost my camera. And then I got my camera back... but forgot to post the picture. lol. So, I have the picture somewhere. But yes... I do associate the beads with the various people on here. I also like to look at your pictures of necklaces and try to find where you put my bead. lol. It's fun. hehe.

As time has gone on, I've started to associate people more with their beads. I think it's totally sweet and fun.

I haven't put my necklace together yet either--still waiting for one bead from a friend IRL.

I strung mine earlier today so I'll have to take a picture and get it on here. My friend saw it when she was over here and called it my 'Birth Warrior' necklace.
