last day of work!!

today is my last day of work! :::::

and not a minute too soon. I have been so stressed and dying to be able to relax and get into baby/birth mode.

anyone else still working? hope you are phasing out asap. it's a huge relief...

My last day of work is Sept 15. :

I am due on the 20th. I can't wait to stop working! I get so uncomfortable sitting at my desk all day. I used to feel guilty that I was going to stop before my due date, but now I don't.

I'll be working as long as possible. Then again I'm a WAHM, so I can always take a break midday if I need to.

I'm still working and I can't figure out how I'm going to extricate myself from this mess!

Today is my EDD by the wheel; Tuesday the 2nd was by ovulation. I know (and I always felt) this baby will be late, obviously, but still . . . .

I'm so sad about it--I feel like my baby is saying, "Mama has no time for me." I just want to cry about it. I don't want baby to feel that way.

This week is the beginning of my time off. I told one of my local clients here in Canada that I'm due in two weeks, and he was astounded that I hadn't gone on mat. leave earlier. And here I was thinking that I was being lazy taking so much time off before my EDD! They have such a different perspective about mat leave (and healthcare in general really) here in Canada than I am used to, coming from the US. It's quite refreshing. (As is not working. )
