Uh-oh.... you said stash. Well- for a workhorse yarn I really like peacefleece. Good company that I feel great about supporting and great selection of colors. I would love some of the hand dyed petunia- beautiful!

Pretty pretty yarns- 3Irish Girls.

Standard cottons and wools- knitpicks. lotsa mamas love thier options needles- I haven't tried them. I have denise and a pair of addis and some clover bamboo.

Elann for some funky yarns.

Etsy for cool stitch markers and bags. oh and of course yarn!

Stash just naturally happens. You don't have to try too hard to get one.

Woo I love Knit Picks!

I like KnitPicks too. The only thing I don't like is that their shipping options seem to be "Takes Forever" and "Outrageously Expensive". I still order there though. Can't beat the prices. I just received some of their Swish (superwash worsted wool) and I really like it so far. It's very soft and easy to work with.

Here's a few more - I spin a lot of my own yarn, so I tend towards places that sell roving too, but these also carry great yarns: http://www.woolery.com/

Not sure of your budget, but for variety, I go to yarn.com (WEBS). I love that one.
Knitpicks is great, too. But, the shipping can be slow.

If your budget has no bottom, well, get thee to etsy!

I don't find etsy more expensive than TIG or wherever.

Another one for you: www.elliebelly.com

I have been using the knitpicks options set, with the harmony wood needles, and I love them. They have books at 40% off through october, including the magic loop booklet if anyone is interested!
