So I had my appt. with the back up OB today. He was really nice of course and said he was really hands off and blah, blah, blah. But at the same time he was like," well your 38w today, so it's pretty much a sure thing that you'll be having a hospital birth.", "As much as I don't believe in inducing moms unless there really is a medical reason, I'm really don't want you to go more than a week past your EDD. You've had two big babies already and your a small gal.", and " we'll start cervical checks next week, if you haven't had him by then" All things I really didn't want hear. It just put me right back down where I was last friday when my midwife told me my levels were currently too low to HB. Part of me feels so defeated, like I don't care anymore I just want my baby. He did draw my blood and I'll get the results Mon., so I am just praying they are like an 11 and I can still have my HB.

Oh dimibella, so sorry to hear that...I'm sending you hugs, low BP & pro HB thoughts. What's your midwife's thoughts on induction & going past EDD? Will she not attend if your OB doesn't approve? If everthing else is OK, are you going to try some 'natural' induction techniques?
Regardless, blessings from your fellow 9/19 EDD. Hang in there.

If you've already had two big babies doesn't that show that your body is very capable of birth all on its own?

:Anyway thanks for the good thoughts ladies, I really did need them, I was in such a bad mood yesterday. My midwife only attends birthcenter/homebirths and if my levels aren't up to a 10 atleast, I have to deliver in the hospital. If it comes to that we'll definitely be trying some natural induction techniques, no way will I be getting pit or anything else like that. Thanks again mamas.

I'm so sorry (((hugs))) Just remember even though you may have to see him, he can't make you induce.
