News report on Measles vax

I saw on my local news yesterday a report saying that kids who develope autisim had markers for it before the vax. What got me though was they said just the measles vax. I am assuming that they dont mean the combo MMR since they never mentioned that in the report.

Just went on about how more and more parents are choosing not to vax and how it is safe to get the measles one.

Anyone know if they were talking about the combo vax or just the measles by itself which isnt even given usually without the other 2. As a matter of fact I have heard many complain that they cant get the seperate shots without a big hassle.

I don't know anything about this, but it raises an obvious question, namely, if they know about the connection between the markers and the vax, why the heck don't they check before they give the frikkin shot????

Just like when dd had a reaction to a delayed shot. MD said it's because her immune system is more developed than it would have been in a younger baby . . . so why wasn't the dose calibrated?

Why oh why don't people see these obvious things? I really don't think I'm SO much smarter than everyone else that only I can see them.

oh and by the way I wouldn't assume the local news would report the details accurately, ie, measles vs mmr. Unless your local news is better than here.
