This is kind of a long request. I have a friend, 22, unwed, 17 weeks pregnant. She is living in a crisis pregnancy center in Denver. She is terrified and not handling this well. Because it's a government program she has to go to a gazillion doctor's appointments and stuff. She goes alone. The last appointment went really poorly and she is scared. Anyways... I was trying to think of options. Are there people who provide doula services for free or almost free for people truly in need? If so, would they be willing to go to the doctor's appointments as well? I would love to help her, but I live 2 hours away. Any info or suggestions you have I would be really grateful. Thank you!
