My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...

This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

To anyone looking for a carrier, BECO is the brand! I recently had purchased the Gemini, great carrier! It has everything you will ever need and want, its ergonomic, comfy, organic, made...

Doctors here are just so freakish about that. I had one implanted in Spain before pg w/ DD and it was the norm. DH says it's the normal method in Africa/Middle East as well.
I've done well woman exams w/ OGA on Fannin for years now. The doctor who I most recently switched to is Carrie Ball, and she seems the most "liberal" of the ones I've seen and she might be willing to do it. Here's there website: http://www.obgynassociates.com/
Are you giving up FAM?

THanks for the suggestion
It's hard to even know where to start when looking for a new dr.
I don't know that I'm giving up FAM, I'm exploring other options

Yah, I know what you mean. Another thing you might think about is going to someone who is FROM Europe/Africa/Middle-east/India...they would probably be more open to the idea than their more conservative (aka scared) American counterparts, kwim? The doctor who removed mine before DD thought I was really insane for having it pre-child...

i know jackie will do it.
I just wanted to bump this and let you guys know that I saw dr boswell at womens specialists of houston and was impressed with her knowledge and bedside manner, and she didn't have an issue inserting an iud in a nullipara
almadianna - I like Jackie, but she's out of network on my PPO. In network, the iud and insertion only cost me $20. Out of network it's really expensive.
