My Bra Doesn't Fit!

So I am not very big. 36B to be exact. Usually I don't wear a bra at all. Well I've been sensitive and wearing one and at five and a half weeks and pretty much busting out of it. But I am assuming if I bought one that fit me now it would fit for very long. Mamas who have been here before, how do you handle the every increasing bust?

mine don't, either. i'm going shopping for a couple new bras tomorrow.

Yeah, when I was pg w/ dd I'm pretty sure I grew a cup size as soon as I peed on the test. Sports bras were great. I know they aren't very practical for most outfits but they sure are comfy!

I probably could fit back into my pre-preggo/BFing bras my boobs got so small! Considering getting new nursing bras in my smaller size.

The first time I bought two cheap bras in the size I had gotten too. Then when babe got here I went to sports bras until I was done being engorged and the boobies settled in size.

I went from a 34B to a 36E and now I am somewhere around a full 34C but I'm still wearing my D bras since I only stopped nursing 3 months ago. I never got around to buying smaller. With my first pregnancy I ended up wearing sports bras and shelf tanks the whole time. Then I waited till my milk came in before I bought my nursing bras. You definitely don't want to waste money on bras that won't fit right, and you never know what will happen to your boobs afterwards. Its really hit or miss!!

Switch to no-wire nursing bras! I was a DD-E during pregnancy with DS and switched to nursing bras during mid-pregnancy. You'll get use out of them now and will continue to use them once baby arrives, and many of them are designed to give a little when the girls get larger over time.

But isn't it a little early at 5-6 weeks to be buying new bras? I mean I have no idea how much I'm going to grow. I also don't know exactly what makes a nursing bra a nursing bra. This whole bra thing is so foreign to me anyway!

Mine grew pretty quickly, too... Funny thing is, last year I lost about 40 pounds, so right now it's useful that I've kept around the old bras--for the time being, it's kind of nice, because my bust has grown back to almost as big as when I weighed a lot more, without the rest of me doing anything much just yet...

I'd buy a few cheap ($15-20) stretchy nursing bras. I found that nursing bras tend to be good even in early pregnancy (I figure a bra that can handle me going from a D cup in the morning to a B in the evening should also work for a B at 5 weeks to a C? at 20-30 weeks).

Hmm. I'm an A-and-a-half normally, but always buy B's for the comfort (and it helps a little in the size department too!) So, I guess I'm lucky in that suddenly, my bras are fitting perfectly.

Anyone else starting with A-ish boobs? How big are they going to get!?

It is definitely worth your comfort to be buying new bras. Your best bet would be to find bras that have stretchy cups, since nursing bras are designed to give that would be my recommendation. I've always liked the cheaper nursing bras at Target over a $40 nursing bra anyday, though I am going to splurge on a Bravado nursing tank top with this baby. Here are a few links to my favorites:

Nursing Bra #1

Nursing Bra #2

Motherhood Maternity also makes relatively inexpensive nursing bras that transition from maternity to nursing.

Hope that helps!

anybody have any good bra brand suggestions for a size 34DDD or 34F? it's nearly impossible finding bras that size at most dep't stores & target.

Decent Exposures makes bras in those sizes and all I've heard are raves about them, though I haven't tried the bras myself. They also make a nursing bra.
