blessingway baby drop

I had the most wonderful blessingway yesterday! it was fantastic!! I have been looking forward to it the whole pregnancy, and it finally came and was a wonderful experience.

and... we apparently blessed the baby right on down into my pelvis. when the event started at 1pm, I was carrying super high as I have been, with no room between breasts and belly. and my belly button was still an "inny" though more shallow than usual.

by 5pm, the baby dropped way down and I literally have inches of new space up top. and my belly button popped out sometime during those 4 hours! I wouldn't believe this story if it hadn't happened to me, but it's true!

a whole new world of sensations, unfortunately mainly uncomfortable and strange, but guess I'll get used to it. since this is my first, I'm gearing up for a birth about 2 weeks from now (about a week before my EDD)...

oh, it's nothing extraordinary... my baby just "dropped" yesterday, that's all. I guess I thought it would be more of a gradual thing, and maybe something I wouldn't even notice, but the baby moved from being way high up to dropping way low in my pelvis in a very short time.

I used to have plenty of space between my belly and my thighs, but now when I sit down my belly rests heavily on my legs. and when I'm standing I have lots of pressure down low and it feels like I have something between my legs.

it was just exciting to me that this happened during the few short hours of my blessingway.

Very cool! I wish I had friends/family who even know what a blessingway is, I would love one.

that is so cool! I always thought it was a really gradual thing, too. Since I haven't dropped yet I don't know what it will be like for me.

A blessing way sounds so awsome right now, i could use all that positive energy from family and friends. I think it's awesome that your baby dropped during that time, i'm sure positive thoughts were helping with that.
